Martlesham Heath Surgery
We are delighted to announce that Martlesham Heath Surgery has been awarded Carer Friendly Status, recognising the practice’s ongoing commitment to supporting carers within our community.
The Carer Friendly award is designed to acknowledge organisations that go the extra mile in identifying and supporting those who care for family members, friends, or neighbours. Carers often provide vital assistance, yet their role can sometimes go unnoticed. This recognition highlights the importance of ensuring carers are supported, valued, and connected to the help available to them.
At Martlesham Heath Surgery, our team has worked hard to raise awareness of carers’ needs, provide information about local services, and ensure carers feel seen and supported within the practice.
Practice Manager Mark said:
“We are incredibly proud of this achievement. It reflects the compassion and dedication shown by the whole team in supporting carers, who play such a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our community.”
Patients and visitors will soon see the Carer Friendly certificate proudly displayed in the surgery, along with a new banner on our website.
This award is not the end of the journey — Martlesham Heath Surgery will continue to build on this recognition by developing further support and awareness for carers.
